Jesus: The Life
Blends the record of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John into a single, unified narrative. This is their witness to the greatest news ever told; news of the one person who lived to become the lynchpin of all human history: Jesus of Nazareth, the Christ of God.
Available in multiple editions, each one keeps the identifying mark of Jim Henkel’s adaptation of the American Standard Version of the Gospels. Namely, this marvelous word: whosoever. No other expression means “me too,” quite like a good, old-fashioned whosoever: “Whosoever has ears to hear, let him hear.” (Matthew 11:15).
Individual editions of the gospel from Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. There are no verse numbers, no footnotes, no commentary. There is just the witness of this “one voice” about the greatest news ever told; news of the one person who lived to become the lynchpin of all human history: Jesus Christ.
Jim Henkel gives voice to the eyewitnesses who experienced the wondrous miracle of Jesus’ birth. These Bible based short stories, will bring you face-to-face with Joseph and Mary, Shepherd and Wise Man, Innkeeper and Midwife, Angel and Starlight and Seer, as they share the stunning sights of that night of nights.
